Act 1 Scene 1   Close the structure

Hippolytus and Theramenes talking outside the royal city
Act 1 Scene 2   Rotate the structureHippolytus visiting Alice in prison, with Phedre approaching them in the distance
Act 1 Scene 5   Open the structure Knowing that Theseus is dead, a ring descends from above and the power seems to belong to Phedre
Act 2 Scene 5   Light the fire flamering Phedre confesses to Hippolytus - "Passion burns me mad, my
tears are flames"
Act 3 Scene 3  

Learning that Theseus is not dead, the ring lands
Act 4 Scene 1   As Oenone falsely accuses Hippolytus, the black backdrop falls, revealing another broken, burned hole in the canopy behind it, and light seeps in from behind it, symbolizing Oenone's lie uncovering the evil that lies beneath the darkness of the royal city
Act 4 Scene 2   The structure slowly closes with the performanceTheseus interrogates Hippolytus and eventually banishes him from the royal city
Act 5 Scene 6   Rotate the structure to the frontTheramenes informs Hippolytus of his death, and actors at the rear of the structure drag the previously fallen black curtain into the side curtain to indicate the clearing away of Hippolytus' body.
Act 5 Scene 6   A crack Phedre's death - "I shall walk alone into the underworld." Structured closure at the end, same as at the beginning.
